Adrienne is a second-year graduate student at George Washington University in Washington D.C. She is currently working to complete her Masters of Arts in Public Policy with a Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Concentration. As an undergraduate at Michigan State University, she worked as a Crisis Hotline Volunteer and Sexual Violence Victim Advocate with the MSU’s student group the Sexual Assault Intervention Team (SACI). In her senior year, she helped organize MSU’s 2016 Take Back the Night weekend as part of the TBTN Planning Committee. She furthered her passion for advocacy and interest in gender-based violence first as an intern with the Consortium on Gender, Security, and Human Rights in Boston, Massachusetts and later as a Board Member for the Domestic Violence Coalition, Inc. in her hometown of Paw Paw, Michigan from late 2016 to early 2018. Adrienne is currently focused on issues related to sex education, youth sexual and relationship wellness, and advancing the rights of pregnant and parenting youth. She has been with NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland since September 2018.
