Women’s Groups to Rally in Annapolis

(Annapolis, MD) On Monday, February 18, 2019, supporters will gather in Annapolis to rally in support of a progressive legislative agenda for Maryland women. Several organizations have co-sponsored the event for bills supporting reproductive justice, healthy families, and economic security, as well as opposing violence against women.

 

Rally sponsors include: NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland, Planned Parenthood of Maryland, FreeState Justice, Women’s Law Center of Maryland, Maryland National Organization for Women (MNOW), Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MCASA), Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women (MLAW), Baltimore Women United, Whole Woman’s Health of Baltimore, Reproductive Justice Inside, American Association for University Women, National Women’s Law Center, University School of Law Safe Center, and MomsRising.

 

What: Women’s Rally in Annapolis

When: 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., February 18, 2019

Where: Southeast side of House of Delegates Office Building, in the grassy area near College Avenue and St. John’s Street, Annapolis, MD (across from Legislative Services Building and Lawyer’s Mall)
