Destiny Harris is a current third-year student at Washington College seeking a political science major with a minor in public health. She plans on combining her major and minor and putting it to use in order to help all minority women educate themselves about proper healthcare services and making sure that all women receive the best medical and healthcare possible. In addition, she has a passion to make a change not only for minority women but for all women. She is very proud to be a part of a great organization that cares so deeply about women’s health and “fight the good fight” as we interns say. Furthermore, within this internship, she looks to learn great skills to take back to Washington College and educate her fellow peers. She has high hopes that she can be a part of the great change of women’s reproductive healthcare and healthcare in general.
