Emma is a rising 2L at University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in Baltimore, MD. At UM Carey Law, Emma serves as the President of Students Supporting the Women’s Law Center, the Community Service Chair of the Women’s Bar Association, as well as the Secretary of If/When/How, the school’s reproductive justice organization. In addition, Emma is a 2019 Maryland Public Interest Law Project grant recipient and a Leadership Scholar at the law school. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where she focused on reproductive justice, democratization, and women’s movements. Emma is thrilled to work for an organization that is in complete alignment with her values, and hopes to use her experience at NARAL to inform her efforts to become an attorney dedicated to serving the women in her community.
