Gabby Winger is a member of our Policy Research Internship team this summer, and will be managing our projects surrounding Emergency Contraceptive access in Maryland and the experiences of pregnant and parenting young people.  She is currently completing a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy with a Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies concentration at George Washington University, and will begin her final year of studies in the fall. During her undergraduate studies, Gabby was a canvassing manager at URGE: Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equity, and during the first year of her graduate studies completed their Policy and Programs internship program. Gabby obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Merchandising and Product Development with a minor in Women’s Studies from Bowling Green State University in 2017. Gabby is passionate about reproductive justice, particularly the intersections of queer identity in the reproductive justice movement. Her current research surrounds abortion access for low-income people in Ohio, Title X services in Ohio, and violence against abortion providers. Post graduation, Gabby aims to do policy research and advocacy surrounding abortion access in Ohio
