Huiqin Mary Feng joined NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland’s team of interns in May of 2020. Currently, a rising third-year Juris Doctor degree candidate at the University of Baltimore School of Law, Ms. Feng received a Master of Laws degree from that institution in 2018. With 5 years of legal practice experience in China prior to her arrival in the United States in 2015, she has been a member of the District of Columbia Bar since 2020. Ms. Feng received a Bachelor of Arts degree in law from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, Nanjing, China in 2010, a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2016, and has been a member of the Chinese Bar since 2011 with a National A Class Legal Professional Qualification. Ms. Feng is particularly interested in women’s rights and comparative law, having worked and studied on such matters in both China and the United States. At NARAL, Ms. Feng will focus on reproductive health and rights issues in Maryland in order to create the most effective recommendations for regulatory solutions on the state and local level. Ms. Feng currently serves as a member of Baltimore – Xiamen Sister City Committee (BXSCC) in order to help build productive educational ties between China and the United States.
